This is a great opportunity for the right person. We are the premier sightseeing tour provider in New York City and Washington DC, and have just arrived in Las Vegas. We started seven years ago and were the first company in either market to sell tour tickets on the Internet. We provide a higher level of experience for our guests. We bring the entrepreneurial fun and youthful freshness of a startup, with a strong history and a driving ambition to keep growing faster and farther.

Our company has made a strategic decision to grow sales rapidly in 2011 with a focused effort on bringing in new top sales talent. We are in the process of an aggressive sales outreach program to reach out to concierges, tour desks, timeshare properties, and other resellers. We are strategically creating additional sales opportunities, and we need the top salespeople in the country to close those opportunities and to promote our core products and secondary spend items to increase our revenue per customer.

There is definitely room to grow and plenty of room to increase your income with our company. We’ve just opened our third city and have our sights on several more.

Before we continue, you should know this: We are only hiring candidates that have solid sales experience and know the ins and outs of selling products or services to clients. You need to be a seasoned and talented sales person who has the professionalism to impress our CEO and managers. Your ability to present professionally in person and on the phone is essential. And you must be coachable, teachable, a quick learner and willing to work intelligently toward increased effectiveness. Exceptional ongoing training is part of our culture and is only getting better.

The compensation package is great for a sales position like this. Our top producer in Washington DC earned $130,000 over the last year, and that was before any of our new sales strategies and systems were fully in place. We are looking for someone who will shatter that record, and the business is here and ready to be claimed. One Vegas resort has the same number of rooms as the four largest DC hotels put together.

This is a straight commission job. You will earn a commission on each tour ticket sold by your hotel concierge or bell desks. Think how many tour tickets per day one of the Strip resorts with more than 2000 rooms could sell. The right candidate will be paid a stipend during the first month to create immediate income while long-term sales streams are built from various concierge and bell desks around the city. We expect you to generate sales your first week, for your commissions to begin flowing by the first pay day in two weeks, and to build from there over multiple years.
